General description: ROCK2 is a serine/threonine kinase that regulates actin cytoskeletal framework. Absence of ROCK2 alleviates atherosclerosis, whereas its overexpression has been associated with hepatocellular carcinoma. Genetic mutations in ROCK2 has been linked to the risk of Behcet′s disease . Anti-ROCK-2 recognizes human and mouse ROCK-2 (160 kDa).
Immunogen: synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1371-1388 located at the C-terminus of human ROCK-2, conjugated to KLH. This sequence is identical in rat, mouse and bovine ROCK-2.
Immunogen: The sequence is highly conserved in Xenopus ROCK-2.
Physical form: Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
