Application: Rhodamine B isothiocyanate-Dextran has been used:
• to label A, CI-M6PR-GFP, Lamp1-CFP-expressing wild type mouse embryonic fibroblast (MEF) cells
• in endosome/phagosome fusion assay to determine the rate of fusion of endosomes
• as a component in poration medium to monitor Hela cell uptake
Biochem/physiol Actions: Rhodamine B stains the tissue in red-violet color and emits a bright red color when fluoresced. It is highly preferred for marking insects.
General description: Rhodamine B is a thiol-reactive and photostable fluorescent dye.
