| Biochem/physiol Actions: | CCL27 (C-C motif chemokine ligand 27) contributes to the progression of inflammatory skin diseases. In animal models, atopic dermatitis is known to increase the CCL27 gene expression. The CCL27 gene is downregulated in cancer. It regulates the enrollment of T cells to inflamed skin. |
| General description: | The Mouse CTACK ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of mouse CTACK in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine. The CCL27 (C-C motif chemokine ligand 27) gene codes for a T cell skin-homing chemokine and is expressed in epidermal keratinocytes. It is also referred to as cutaneous T cell-attracting chemokine (CTACK). |
