| General description: | Lipocalin-2 (LCN2), a secreted glycoprotein, is an adipokine. It is expressed in various cells like respiratory cells, intestinal epithelial cells, endothelial cells, renal tubular cells and cardiomyocytes. The gene LCN2 is located on human chromosome 9q34. The human lipocalin-2 ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human lipocalin-2 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine. |
