Immunofluorescence HeLa cells were fixed and permeabilized with cold methanol followed by cold acetone. Fixed cells were stained with 5 μg/mL Rabbit Anti-SDCBP (Cat. No. S1701). The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, Cy3 conjugate. Cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue) to stain nuclei.
Immunoblotting Whole extract of 293T cells was separated on SDS-PAGE and probed with Rabbit Anti-SDCBP (Cat. No. S1701). The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-Peroxidase (Cat. No. A0545) and a chemiluminescent substrate. Lanes 1. 1 μg/mL antibody 2. 2 μg/mL antibody 3. 2 μg/mL antibody + SDCBP immunizing peptide (human, 187-200)

| General description: | Syndecan binding protein (SDCBP), also known as syntenin and melanoma differentiation associated gene-9 (mda-9), was initially identified as a molecule linking syndecan-mediated signaling to the cytoskeleton. SDCBP contains tandemly repeated PDZ domains that binds the cytoplasmic, C-terminal domains of a variety of transmembrane proteins. SDCBP is primarily localized to membrane associated adherens junctions and focal adhesions but is also found at the endoplasmic reticulum and nucleus. |
