Whole cell extracts of NRK (Lane A), MDBK (Lane B) and homogenates of rat lung, rat kidney, and rat spleen were separated on SDS-PAGE, blotted with Rabbit Anti-Syntaxin 7, (Cat. No. S4819) and developed using Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-Peroxidase (Cat. No. A0545) and chemiluminescent substrate. Antibody dilution 1:2,000. Inhibition of NRK whole cell extract staining with syntaxin 7 immunizing peptide (20 μg/mL, Lane C).

Cytoplasmic Endosomal Staining: NRK rat kidney cells were 4% PFA/0.1% Triton X-100 fixed and stained with Anti-Syntaxin 7 (Cat. No. C4819) at 1:100, followed by Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-FITC (Cat. No. F9887).

Mutant syntaxin 7 lacking the transmembrane domain blocks endocytic transport from the early to late endosome. Syntaxin 7 has been described to play an important role during phagocytosis. |
