| Biochem/physiol Actions: | ZRANB2 is a splice factor required for alternative splicing of SFRS10/TRA2B transcripts. It may interfere with constitutive 5′-splice site selection. Zinc finger Ran-binding domain containing protein 2 (ZRANB2) promotes differential splicing of numerous primary transcripts. Alternative splicing of transcripts might be associated with cancer. ZRANB2 is upregulated in grade III ovarian serous papillary carcinoma. The C-terminal interacts with spliceosomal proteins and the N- terminal helps in RNA recognition. |
