General description: Uncoupling protein 2 (UCP2) is an inner mitochondrial membrane protein. It expressed in various regions of the brain. In non-human primates, it is present in the hypothalamic nuclei, pituitary gland, brainstem, ventral tegmental area and substantia nigra. It is located on human chromosome 11q13.
Immunogen: Peptide with sequence C-DSVKQFYTKGSEH from the internal region of the protein sequence according to NP_003346.2.
Physical form: Supplied at 0.5 mg/mL in Tris saline with 0.02% sodium azide and 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
