| General description: | Natriuretic peptide receptor 3 (NPR3) is a natriuretic peptide receptor. It is expressed in endothelial cells, vessels, endocrine glands, lungs and kidneys. The gene encoding NPR3 is localized on human chromosome 5p14-p13. The protein consists of a 450-amino acid extracellular ligand-binding domain, a transmembrane region and a cytoplasmic tail. |
