Immunohistochemistry MUL1 antibody detects MUL1 protein at cytosol on U87 xenograft by immunohistochemical analysis. Sample: Paraffin-embedded U87 xenograft. MUL1 antibody (SAB2702071) dilution: 1:500.
Immunofluorescence Confocal immunofluorescence analysis (Olympus FV10i) of methanol-fixed A431, using MUL1 (SAB2702071) antibody (Green) at 1:500 dilution. Alpha-tubulin filaments were labeled (Red)
Western Blotting Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with MUL1 antibody (SAB2702071) diluted at 1:2000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.

Biochem/physiol Actions: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that plays a role in the control of mitochondrial morphology. Promotes mitochondrial fragmentation and influences mitochondrial localization. Inhibits cell growth. When overexpressed, activates JNK through MAP3K7/TAK1 and induces caspase-dependent apoptosis. E3 ubiquitin ligases accept ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then directly transfer the ubiquitin to targeted substrates.
