Immunohistochemistry Filamin B antibody [GT1372] detects Filamin B protein at cytoplasm in mouse kidney by immunohistochemical analysis. Sample: Paraffin-embedded mouse kidney. Filamin B antibody [GT1372] (SAB2702362) diluted at 1:250.
Immunohistochemistry Filamin B antibody [GT1372] detects Filamin B protein at cytoplasm in rat brain by immunohistochemical analysis. Sample: Paraffin-embedded rat brain. Filamin B antibody [GT1372] (SAB2702362) diluted at 1:250.
Western Blotting Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) HeLa whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Filamin B antibody [GT1372] (SAB2702362) diluted at 1:500.
Immunoprecipitation Immunoprecipitation of Filamin B protein from HeLa whole cell extracts using 5 μg of Filamin B antibody (SAB2702362). Western blot analysis was performed using Filamin B antibody (SAB2702362). EasyBlot anti-Rabbit IgG was used as a secondary reagent.

Biochem/physiol Actions: This gene encodes a member of the filamin family. The encoded protein interacts with glycoprotein Ib alpha as part of the process to repair vascular injuries. The platelet glycoprotein Ib complex includes glycoprotein Ib alpha, and it binds the actin cytoskeleton. Mutations in this gene have been found in several conditions: atelosteogenesis type 1 and type 3; boomerang dysplasia; autosomal dominant Larsen syndrome; and spondylocarpotarsal synostosis syndrome. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different protein isoforms have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]
