| Application: | Anti-LAMP-1 antibody produced in rabbit has been used in Western blotting. |
| Biochem/physiol Actions: | Lysosomal-associated membrane protein 1 (LAMP-1) functions as an intracellular receptor. It is found to be expressed in the cytoplasm of several types of tumor cells and may be involved in tumor invasion. LAMP-1 is essential for perforin trafficking to the lytic granules and motility of these lytic granules. Knockdown of this protein leads to inhibition of cytotoxicity of human natural killer cells. |

| General description: | Lysosomal-associated membrane protein 1 (LAMP-1) is a type I transmembrane protein with a short cytoplasmic tail containing a lysosome-targeting signal. The gene encoding this protein is localized on human chromosome 13q34. |
| Immunogen: | LAMP-1 antibody was raised against a 15 amino acid peptide from near the center of human LAMP-1. |
| Other Notes: | The action of this antibody can be blocked using blocking peptide SBP3500285 . |
| Physical form: | Supplied in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide. |
