IgG is a major class of immunoglobulin. Immunoglobulin G (IgG) participates in hypersensitivity type II and type III. Hamster IgG has two well known subclasses- IgG1, IgG2 and a poorly studied IgG3 subclass. Some hamster strains shows the absence of IgG3 due to a single gene defect evolved during interbreeding. |
