| Biochem/physiol Actions: | Immunoglobulin G (IgG) mainly helps in immune defense. It participates in hypersensitivity type II and type III. Macaques (rhesus monkeys) and cynomolgus monkeys (cynos) serves as hosts in synthesizing vaccine, transplantation research, studies of viral diseases, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetic and safety assessments of therapeutic candidate Abs (antibodies). |
| Biochem/physiol Actions: | This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Monkey IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against Anti-Biotin, Anti-Goat Serum, Monkey IgG and Monkey Serum. No reaction was observed against Monkey IgA or Monkey IgM. |
