| Application: | Monoclonal Anti-BOP1 antibody produced in rat has been used in several immunochemical techniques including immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunocytochemistry. |
| Biochem/physiol Actions: | Ribosome biogenesis protein BOP1 is an essential component of A nucleolar complex, PeBoW that is involved in ribosome biogenesis and cell proliferation. Fluctuations in Bop1 protein level were found to affect the assembly and integrity of the whole PeBoW (Pes1, Bop1, and WDR12) complex. Overexpression of Bop1 mRNA is associated with the development of colorectal cancer. |
