General description: | Monoclonal Anti- EpCAM ICD (mouse IgG1 isotype) is derived from the hybridoma 4A7 produced by the fusion of mouse myeloma cells and splenocytes from BALB/c mice immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the intracellular domain of human EpCAM, conjugated to KLH. Epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM) is an epithelial transmembrane glycoprotein, composed of an ectodomain, a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic domain. EpCAM is frequently expressed in human malignancies, normal stem and progenitor cells, and at lower levels, in normal epithelia. |
Immunogen: | synthetic peptide corresponding to the intracellular domain of human EpCAM, conjugated to KLH. The isotype is determined by ELISA using Mouse Monoclonal Antibody Isotyping Reagents (Sigma ISO-2). |
Physical form: | Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide. |
