Immunofluorescence HeLa cells were fixed and permeabilized with 4% Paraformaldehyde and 0.5% Triton X-100. Fixed cells were stained with 5 μg/mL Monoclonal Anti-Histone H3 (C-terminal), Clone: H6.10 (Cat. No. SAB4200651). The antibody was developed using Cy3™-conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG. Cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue) to stain nuclei. Left: Cy3 staining of nuclei Right: DAPI staining overlay
Immunoblotting Extract of Histones from HeLa cells was separated on SDS-PAGE and probed with Monoclonal Anti-Histone H3 (C-terminal), Clone: H6.10 (Cat. No. SAB4200651). The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG-Peroxidase (Cat. No. A2304) and a chemiluminescent substrate. Lanes 1. 1 μg/mL antibody 2. 0.5 μg/mL antibody 3. 0.25 μg/mL antibody 4. 0.125 μg/mL antibody 5. Negative control: without first antibody

Biochem/physiol Actions: H3.1 (Histone 3-variant 1) is involved in gene silencing as well as gene activation. Histones H3 and H4 are the predominant histones subjected to extensive covalent modifications. Mutations in histone H3 were identified in various tumors.
Biochem/physiol Actions: Histone cluster 1 H3A (HIST1H3A) has been associated with DNA replication.

General description: Histone cluster 1 H3A (HIST1H3A) belongs to the H3 histone family. The gene encoding it is localized on human chromosome 6.
General description: Monoclonal Anti-Histone H3 (C-terminal) (mouse IgG1 isotype) is derived from the hybridoma H6.10 produced by the fusion of mouse myeloma cells and splenocytes from BALB/c mice immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C terminal region of human Histone H3, conjugated to KLH.
Immunogen: a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C terminal region of human Histone H3.
