| Biochem/physiol Actions: | Upregulation of tubulin β-III (TUBB3) shows vigorous tumor characteristics and genetic instability in urinary bladder cancer. It participates in the separation of chromosome. Individuals with congenital fibrosis of the extraocular muscle type 3 (CFEOM3) show mutations in TUBB3. βIII-tubulin modulates glucose metabolism, thereby transforms glucose starvation stress signaling to develop the multiplication of cell and survival in non-small cell lung cancer cells. |

| General description: | The antibody detects endogenous level of total Tubulin -βIII protein. |
| General description: | Tubulin β-III (TUBB3) is a constituent of microtubules. It is expressed in mature neurons. It is located on human chromosome 16q24. |
| General description: | Tubulin is the major constituent of microtubules. It binds two moles of GTP, one at an exchangeable site on the beta chain and one at a non-exchangeable site on the alpha-chain. TUBB3 plays a critical role in proper axon guidance and mantainance. |
