| General description: | Myogenic factor 5 (MYF5) regulates the determination of skeletal myoblasts during embryonic development. Inactivation of MYF5 in mice results in abnormal development of the ribs, which eventually leads to perinatal death. The gene encoding this protein is localized on human chromosome 12q21. |
| Immunogen: | The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human MYF5. Immunogen Range: 21-70 |
| Physical form: | Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. |
