Biochem/physiol Actions: ETS1 (E26 transformation specific sequence 1) participates in Pol ι‐mediated progression of ESCC (esophageal squamous cell carcinoma). This gene controls cancer cell invasion, metastasis and EMT (epithelial to mesenchymal transition). ETS1 also plays important roles in the lymphocyte development, function, apoptosis and inflammation.
