| General description: | Survivin is also termed as BIRC5 (baculoviral inhibitor of apoptosis repeat-containing 5). It is a multifunctional protein. It belongs to the inhibitor of apoptosis protein (IAP) family. BIRC5 is expressed in fetal tissues and several human malignancies like melanoma. Survivin is located on human chromosome 17q25. |
| Immunogen: | The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human Survivin around the phosphorylation site of Thr34. Immunogen Range: 11-60 |
| Physical form: | Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. |
