| General description: | AXL (receptor tyrosine kinase) is also termed as Ark, UFO or Tyro7. This gene is overexpressed in pancreatic cancer tissues. AXL belongs to the receptor tyrosine kinase family. It is obtained as a transforming gene from human leukemia cells. AXL is mapped to human chromosome 19q13. |
