| Application: | The reagent is designed for Flow Cytometry analysis of human blood cells using 20 μL reagent / 100 μL of whole blood or 1e6 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (2 mL) is sufficient for 100 tests. |
| Biochem/physiol Actions: | T-cell receptor-CD3 complex containing CD3ε, CD3γ and CD3δ, is essentially involved in inducing early metabolic events that lead to T-cell activation. Mutation in the CD3ε has been observed in T-B+ NK+ severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) patients. |

| General description: | CD3 molecule is encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 11q23.3. The encoded protein exists in three isoforms, CD3ε, CD3γ and CD3δ and each contains an N-terminal extracellular domain, a transmembrane segment and a cytoplasmic domain. CD3 is a 20kDa glycoprotein expressed on surface of all human T lymphocytes. |
| General description: | The antibody MEM-57 reacts with gamma-epsilon and delta-epsilon dimers of human CD3 complex, a part of a bigger multisubunit T cell receptor complex (CD3/TCR) expressed on peripheral blood T lymphocytes and mature thymocytes. |
| Immunogen: | Human thymocytes and T lymphocytes |
| Physical form: | Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 15 mM sodium azide and 0.2% high-grade protease free BSA as a stabilizing agent. |
