General description: | Cyclin D3 is a regulator of cell proliferation and cell-cycle progression during G1/S transition. It is a regulatory component of the cyclin D3-CDK4 (DC) complex that phosphorylates and inhibits members of the retinoblastoma (RB) protein family. It is over-expressed or amplified in various human tumors such as acute myeloid leukemia and Burkitt’s lymphoma. |
