HeLa cells were treated by Anisomycin (25 μg/mL) at 37 °C for 30 minutes after serum-starvation overnight. Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at 1:10,000 dilution. Lysates/proteins: 25 μg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% BSA. Detection: ECL™ Basic Kit (GERPN3004). Exposure time: 30 s.
Immunoprecipitation Immunoprecipitation analysis of 200 μg extracts of 293T cells, using 3 μg Phospho-CREB1-S133 pAb at a dilution of 1:1,000. 293T cells were treated by 10% FBS at 37 °C for 30 minutes after serum-starvation overnight.

| General description: | This gene encodes a transcription factor that is a member of the leucine zipper family of DNA binding proteins. This protein binds as a homodimer to the cAMP-responsive element, an octameric palindrome. The protein is phosphorylated by several protein kinases, and induces transcription of genes in response to hormonal stimulation of the cAMP pathway. Alternate splicing of this gene results in several transcript variants encoding different isoforms. |
