SDS-PAGE Anti-C-Myc-Magnetic beads (Cat. No. SAE0201) were incubated with Multi-tag protein for 1 hour. Elution from the beads made with sample buffer. The eluted fraction was separated on SDS-PAGE parallel to the binding protein, followed by fast coomassie staining. Lanes: 1. 20 μl Elution fraction 2. 3 μg Multi-tag protein 3. 2.5 μg Multi-tag -protein 4. 2 μg Multi-tag protein 5. 1.5 μg Multi-tag protein 6. 1 μg Multi-tag protein Lanes 2-6 were used as a calibration curve to determine protein concentration in the elution fraction (lane 1).

| General description: | This product is a conjugate of activated magnetic cross-linked agarose beads to a polyclonal antibody that was raised against the c-Myc sequence. The c-Myc peptide tag sequence (EQKLISEEDL) is an epitope that is located within amino acid residues 410-419 of the human c-Myc protein. This tag is used in recombinant protein expression and for purification of c-Myc tagged proteins expressed in bacterial and mammalian cells. |
