It also shows neuroprotective and anti-amyloidogenic properties and can inhibit 42-mer amyloid β-protein (Aβ42). 4,5-COQ displays anti-human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) activity as its effectively inhibits HIV-1 reverse transcriptase. |
