Biochem/physiol Actions:	NS6180 is a novel inhibitor of the intermediate-conductance Ca2+-activated K+ channel (K_Ca3.1) The IC₅₀ of NS6180 against cloned human K_Ca3.1 is 9 nM. The compound blocks proliferation and production of IL-2 and IFNγ with sub-micromolar potencies in either ConA or PMA/ionomycin challenged rat splenocytes.
