Application: | SRPIN340 has been used as a serine-arginine protein kinase (SRPK) inhibitor to identify if SRPK can phosphorylate the E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF12 ser/arg (SR)-motifs in vivo. |
Biochem/physiol Actions: | SRPIN340 is a cell-permeable, specific and potent inhibitor of Serine-Arginine-Rich Protein Kinase (SRPK) that down-regulates SRp75 and inhibits expression of Sindbis, hepatitis C virus (HCV), HIV, and cytomegalovirus viruses. SRPIN340 appears to be most effective for inhibiting acutely replicating viruses. SRPIN340 suppresses Vegf expression and attenuated choroidal neovascularization (CNV) formation in mice model. |
