Sinensetin is a citrus flavonoid with anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative activity. It has also been shown to enhance adipogenesis and lipolysis. It exhibits anticancer, antimicrobial, anti-dementia, antioxidant, anti-obesity, anti-trypanosomal, and vasorelaxant activities. It is capable of inhibiting P-glycoprotein (P-gp), efflux transporter, and breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP). Sinensetin has the potential to serve as a flavonoid chemosensitizer. |
