Biochem/physiol Actions: AH-7614 is a potent negative allosteric modulator (NAM) of the long-chain free fatty acid receptor FFA4 that prevents differentiation of a mouse mesenchymal stem cell line toward an adipocyte phenotype. AH-7614 (Compound 39) was first described as antagonist of FFA4 that blocks activation of FFA4 by polyunsaturated, ω-6 fatty acid, linoleic acid and GSK137647A.
