| Application: | Sphingosine kinase 2 is useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Sphingosine kinase 2 has been used in a study to assess the expression of sphingosine kinase 1 in oestrogen receptor-negative breast cancer. Sphingosine kinase 2 has also been used in a study to investigate the antitumor effects of sorafenib (≤ 10 μM) on four human neuroblastoma cell lines. |
