| Application: | Active human cathepsin V is useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Active human cathepsin V has been used in a study to assess the cysteine protease attribute of the eukaryotic ribosomal protein S4. Active human cathepsin V has also been used in a study to determine that the simultaneous treatment of human bronchial epithelial cells with serine and cysteine protease inhibitors prevents severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus entry. |
