General description: | PP2Cγ is a member of the PP2C family of Ser/Thr protein phosphatases which are known to be negative regulators of cell stress response pathways. PP2C gamma is found to be responsible for the dephosphorylation of Pre-mRNA splicing factors, which is important for the formation of functional spliceosome. PP2C gamma is highly expressed in testis, skeletal muscle, and heart. PP2C gamma also plays a main role in regulating cell cycle progression. |
Physical form: | Supplied in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 150 mM NaCl, 10 mM glutathione, 0.1 mM EDTA, 0.25 mM DTT, 0.1 mM PMSF, 25% glycerol. |
