General description: | AATK or apoptosis-associated tyrosine kinase contains a tyrosine kinase domain at the N-terminus and a proline-rich domain at the C-terminus. AATK is induced during apoptosis, and expression of this protein is a necessary pre-requisite for the induction of growth arrest and/or apoptosis of myeloid precursor cells. AATK is highly detected in brain, lung, kidney, and pancreas. AATK is also shown to produce neuronal differentiation in a neuroblastoma cell line. |
Physical form: | Supplied in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 150 mM NaCl, 10 mM glutathione, 0.1 mM EDTA, 0.25 mM DTT, 0.1 mM PMSF, 25% glycerol. |
Preparation Note: | After opening, aliquot into smaller quantities and store at -70 °C. Avoid repeating handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles. |
