Biochem/physiol Actions: Thionicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (sNAD) is an analog of coenzyme nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) and NADH. sNAD is a potential inhibitor of NAD+ kinase. NAD+ kinase modulates NAD levels, contributing to cytotoxicity in cancer cells.
