Application: Sodium taurolithocholate has been used in a study to assess factors controlling the gastrointestinal adsorption of petroleum hydrocarbon residues. It has also been used in a study to investigate the decrease in activity of Na+, K+-adenosinetriphosphatase (Na+, K+-ATPase) in rats where cholestasis had been induced.
