Immunohistochemistry Staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human testis sections with 1:100 Monoclonal Anti-β-Tubulin I, Clone: SAP.4G5 (Cat. No. T7816) using biotin/ExtrAvidin®-Peroxidase.
Immunohistochemistry Staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human fallopian tube sections with 1:100 Monoclonal Anti-β-Tubulin I, Clone: SAP.4G5 (Cat. No. T7816) using biotin/ExtrAvidin®-Peroxidase.
Immunofluorescence HeLa cells were fixed and permeabilized with 4% paraformaldehyde followed by 0.5% Triton™ X-100. Fixed cells were stained with 1:5,000 Monoclonal Anti-β-Tubulin I antibody Clone: SAP.4G5 (Cat. No. T7816). The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG, Atto-488 conjugate (Cat. No. 62197). Cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue) to stain nuclei.
Immunoblotting Cell line lysates were separated on SDS-PAGE and probed with 1:20,000 Monoclonal Anti-β-Tubulin I antibody Clone: SAP.4G5 (Cat. No. T7816). The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG-Peroxidase (Cat. No. A2304) and a chemiluminescent substrate. Lanes 1. Chicken Fibroblasts 2. Mouse brain extract I 3. Mouse brain extract II 4. General description: Tubulin a 100kD protein is present in all cells as a heterodimer of two similar polypeptides α and β which assemble to form microtubules. Proper organization of microtubules is essential for several cellular functions like mitosis, meiosis, some forms of organellar movement, intracellular transport, flagellar movement and cytoskeletal functions. Monoclonal anti-β-tubulin I antibody can be used in ELISA to localize β tubulin isotype I and can be used in immunoblotting to localize cultured human and animal cells. Mouse anti-β-tubulin I antibody reacts specifically with an epitope found in the c-terminal sequence of β tubulin of human, rat, dog, bovine, hamster, mouse, chicken and xenopus
Immunogen: synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal sequence of β-tubulin isotype I, conjugated to BSA.
Specificity: Recognizes an epitope located in the C-terminal sequence of β-tubulin isotype I. No reactivity with other tubulin isotypes is observed.
