| General description: | PEG-Link is comprised of polyethylene glycol and thiol (SH) groups at each end. The thiol groups form stable thioether bond with thiol-reactive groups of the polymers (Mal-PVA, Mal-Dextran, SG-PVA and SG-Dextran), which results in stable hydrogel. The matrix metalloproteases secreted by cells cannot cleave PEG crosslinker. |
