| Features and Benefits: | Contains cell adhesion motif RGD (Acetyl-Cys-Doa*-Doa-Gly- *Doa : 8-amino-3,6-dioxaoctanoic acid |
| General description: | RGD sequences on extracellular matrix proteins (fibronectin, vitronectin) promote cell adhesion to cellular integrin receptors. The thiol group on the N-terminus of TrueGel3D® RGD peptide acts as linker to bind RGD motif to the polymer (Dextran/PVA). The conjugated RGD motif on polymer promotes adhesion of cells with appropriate integrin receptors. |
| General description: | TrueGel3D® is a commercially available polymer-based diverse array of scaffolds for 3D in vitro tumor models. The RGD peptide present in these hydrogels enable cell attachment. |
| Legal Information: | TRUEGEL3D is a registered trademark of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany |
