Application: | Uridine 5′-triphosphate has been used in a study to show that fluoxetine (FLX), mediates its anti-depressive effect by increasing the gliotransmission of adenosine 5′-triphosphate (ATP). |
Application: | UTP has been used as a P2 receptor activator to study its effects on proton efflux in MC3T3-E1 and UMR-106 cells. UTP has also been studied in combination with amiloride hydrochloride in nebulizer solutions for treating cystic fibrosis. |
