Immunoprecipitation Rabbit Anti-WIPI-1 (C-Terminal) (Cat. No. W2394), was used to immunoprecipitate WIPI-1 from 3T3 (Lanes 2-3) and NRK (Lanes 4-6) whole cell extracts. Immunoblotting
Whole extract of G361 cells was separated on SDS-PAGE and probed with Rabbit Anti-WIPI-1 (C-Terminal) (Cat. No. W2394). The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-Peroxidase (Cat. No. A0545) and a chemiluminescent substrate.

| General description: | WIPI-1, the mammalian orthologue of Atg18 in S. cerevisiae and A. thaliana, is a member of the WIPI subfamily of WD-repeat proteins. It has a 7-bladed propeller structure and contains a conserved motif for interaction with phospholipids. WIPI-1 is ubiquitously expressed in normal human tissues with highest levels in skeletal muscle, heart and testis. It is aberrantly expressed in human cancer. |
