Immunofluorescence Nuclear foci of WSTF in 3T3 cells stained by Rabbit Anti-WSTF (C-terminal) (Cat. No. W3516).
Immunoblot Mcf7 cell lysate (Lanes 1-5) were separated on SDS-PAGE and blotted with decreasing amounts of Rabbit Anti-WSTF (Cat. No. W3516). The antibody was developed with Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, Peroxidase conjugate and a chemiluminescent substrate. Lanes 1: Antibody concentration 2.0 μg/mL 2: Antibody concentration 1.0 μg/mL 3: Antibody concentration 0.5 μg/mL 4: Antibody concentration 1.0 μg/mL + 10 μg/mL non-relevant peptide 5: Antibody concentration 1.0 μg/mL + 10 μg/mL WSTF immunizing peptide
Immunoprecipitation Rabbit Anti-WSTF (C-terminal) (Cat. No. W3516) was used to immunoprecipitate human WSTF from HEK-293T cell lysate. Immunoprecipitate was separated on SDS-PAGE and blotted. Detection antibody: Rabbit Anti-WSTF (N-terminal) (Cat. No. W3641) Lanes 1: 5 μg antibody 2: Negative control — without cell lysate 3: Negative control — without IP antibody 4: Immunoblotting — MCF7 cell extracts was separated on SDS-PAGE and blotted

Biochem/physiol Actions: Williams syndrome transcription factor (WSTF) is implicated in transcription, replication, chromatin remodeling and DNA damage response. It acts as a tyrosine protein kinase. Mutations in this gene are associated with Williams-Beuren syndrome. WSTF might function as an activator of gene expression of cytochrome P450 family 21 subfamily A member 2 (CYP21A2) and CYP19A1.

General description: Williams syndrome transcription factor (WSTF) belongs to the WAL/BAZ/WAC protein family, encoded by the bromodomain adjacent to zinc finger domain 1B (BAZ1B) gene. It is a non-secretory protein, which consists of a C-terminal bromodomain adjacent to a PHD (plant homeodomain) finger.
Immunogen: synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1467-1483 of human WSTF, conjugated to KLH via an N-terminal added cysteine residue. The corresponding rat and mouse sequence differ from the immunizing sequence by three amino acids.
Physical form: Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, and 15 mM sodium azide.
