Immunoblot Mcf7 cell lysates (Lanes 1-5) were separated on SDS-PAGE and blotted with decreasing amounts of Rabbit Anti-WSTF, affinity-purified antibody (Cat. No. W3641). The antibody was developed with Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, Peroxidase conjugate and a chemiluminescent substrate. Immunoblot Extracts of HEK-293T (Lane 1), MCF7 (Lane 2), JurKat (Lane 3), C2 (Lane 4), 3T3 (Lane 5), mouse brain (Lane 6), PC12 (Lane 7), AT3B-1 (Lane 8) and RAT1 (Lane 9) were separated on SDS-PAGE and blotted with Rabbit Anti-WSTF (N-terminal) (Cat. No. W3641). The antibodies were developed with Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, Peroxidase conjugate and a chemiluminescent substrate.
Immunoprecipitation Rabbit Anti-WSTF (N-terminal) (Cat. No. W3641) was used to immunoprecipitate human WSTF from HEK-293T cell lysate. Immunoprecipitate was separated on SDS-PAGE and blotted. WICH and WINAC complexes plays a vital role in replication of heterochromatin and vitamin D-mediated transcription and replication, respectively. In addition, WSTF is also involved in neurodevelopment. Hemizygous deletion of the gene leads to a neurodevelopmental disorder, Williams syndrome (WS). |

The gene is localized on human chromosome 7q11.23. The encoded protein is composed of 1425 amino acids and is widely expressed in both adult and fetal tissues. WSTF contains one PHD-type zinc finger motif and a bromo domain. |
