Application: | GenomePlex® WGA Reamplification Kit has been used to generate DNA probes (μBm-probe and μBsm-probe) labeled with digoxigenin-11-dUTP. It has also been used in the reamplification of WGA2-amplified genomic DNA to generate >10 μg gDNA for microarray hybridization. |
General description: | GenomePlex® WGA Reamplification Kit utilizes a proprietary amplification method that is based on random fragmentation of genomic DNA and conversion of the resulting small fragments to PCR-amplifiable library molecules flanked by universal priming sites. WGA is achieved by PCR amplification of the library molecules using universal oligonucleotide primers. It allows the user to obtain even higher yields of desired DNA without disturbing the original, limited source of genomic DNA. The genomic DNA can be reamplified up to five cycles with minimal allele dropout producing an even higher yield. It provides the researcher to generate a representative, ~500-fold amplification of genomic DNA. |
