Biochem/physiol Actions: Ras related protein (RRAS) modulates cell migration, adhesion, differentiation and apoptosis. It acts as a molecular switch in signaling pathways. RRAS also activates integrins and subsequently leads to increase in matrix assembly and cell adhesion. The protein has been associated with breast cancer.
