It contributes to monoubiquitination of Fanconi anemia group D2 protein (FANCD2) and maintains chromosome stability. UBE2T regulates protein degradation via proteasome. It is used as a prognostic biomarker for gastric cancer. UBE2T is overexpressed in cancers such as bladder cancer, lung cancer and prostate cancer. |
