Preparation Note: | Suspend 41 grams of Yeast Malt Agar in 1000 ml of distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121 °C for 15 minutes. For preparing a selective media acidify the media to pH 3.0-4.0 or add antibiotics. Do not heat the media after the addition of acid. |
