| Application: | Nalgene™ vacuum filtration system is suitable for the filtration of serum, cell culture medium, tissue culture, buffers and additives. |
| Features and Benefits: | • Colour coded according to membrane material • Devices feature the fastest flow rate and lowest clogging of comparable alternatives • 0.1um PES available for mycoplasma protection • 0.2um PES devices are stem cell and mouse embryonic assay (MEA) tested • Non-pyrogenic and endotoxin free • Rapid-Flow filter units meet the most rigorous testing standards for any vacuum filtration unit • Graduated Upper chamber |
| General description: | • Nalgene® vacuum filtration system provides efficient filtration. • The polyethersulfone (PES) membrane exhibits low protein binding, resulting in low chances of protein loss from media. • Hydrophilic PES does not require external wetting agents or surfactants. It offers higher aqueous flow rates, greater strength, capacity, and chemical resistance that is optimized for use with most cell and tissue culture media. • The 0.45 μm membrane pore size is ideal for specialty applications, particle removal, and general clarification • Non-pyrogenic and endotoxin-free. |
| General description: | Increase filtration efficiency by using the Nalgene® Rapid-Flow disposable filter units featuring the exclusive Rapid-Flow support column design, providing fast flow rates and high throughput. The last line of defense against cell culture contamination when filtering cell culture media, serum, additives and buffers. With a graduated upper chamber and Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane this filter unit offer higher aqueous flow rates; lower extractables (no wetting agent); lower protein binding; and greater strength, capacity, and chemical resistance than cellulose acetate, nitrocellulose, or nylon. |
