| Biochem/physiol Actions: | Zyxin (ZYX ) participates in the modulation of actin assembly at focal adhesions and stress fibers. It also regulates cell adhesion and cell cycle. Overexpression of ZYX is associated with melanoma. Suppression of ZYX prevents cell growth. |
